Jordyn grew up athletic, bouncing between basketball, track, and gymnastics. Gymnastics came naturally—she was strong, coordinated, great at tumbling, and had incredible body awareness—but she eventually quit because she hated the pressure of competing alone.

Cheerleading found her almost by accident.

In high school, a friend convinced Jordyn to attend an open practice because her stunt group desperately needed another base. Jordyn initially refused, insisting she wasn’t about to “put on a skirt and shake pom-poms.” 😭

Then somebody handed her a flyer.

Jordyn caught her perfectly.

Her strength, reach, gymnastics background, and natural ability to track athletes in the air immediately caught the coach’s attention. What started as filling an empty position quickly became something Jordyn genuinely loved—not because of performing, but because of the trust involved.

By junior year, Jordyn had transitioned primarily to back spotting and eventually caught Frosthaven’s attention. Now a senior, she’s one of the Raiders’ strongest and most dependable back spots.
