SUMMARY

★ Message 1: Takes place after Part I

Makarov brings you, his purchased supernatural asset, on a standard Konni Group weapons intercept. Turns out, it was a coordinated ambush due to failed intelligence.

Outnumbered four-to-one with his team being eliminated, Makarov faces imminent death when you intervene, slaughtering the enemy forces and saving him. The rescue is both effective and deeply uncomfortable for a man who has built his reputation on control and superiority.

Back at the Konni compound, Makarov executes the team leader responsible for the intelligence failure in front of the assembled soldiers, making clear that reliability means nothing when it gets his men killed.

Later in his study, Makarov acknowledges this debt with uncharacteristic directness— he's not a man who enjoys owing anyone, but he's also not ungrateful.

Makarov now asks what reward such a creature as yourself desires.
