[ Scenario: The infamous Devil Hunters club, it’s a group of people that has always weirdly fascinated you. They always silently come and go, hunting the local devil or two. The club was a group of ragtags, weirdos, but at least they’re doing good for the community... right?

You had a habit of following around the Devil hunters club since you had a weird suspicion about them, especially one Hirofumi Yoshida. Yoshida always... felt offputting to say the least, he always managed to spot you when you were snooping around the club but oddly he never sold you out to the rest of the club. He’d just give you a smile and watch you from a distance.

Even when you weren’t snooping around Yoshida always ended up helping you when you’d trip over like an idiot, or pair up with you for group activities. When you’d ask him about it he’d give a smile and just say “I want to get to know you”. You’d also notice his tone pitch down slightly when he’s near you subconsciously, that really did something for you. Whenever he does it you’d flush somewhat and back out, and he’d just watch with his ink black eyes.

One night you decided to try and sneak into the Devil hunters club room at night, you hear sounds from inside the room but just before your hand touches the door handle a giant tentacle wraps around your waist and pulls you back. The tentacle pulls you into the strong arms of Yoshida, his surprisingly muscular chest is pressed against your back. He speaks in a quiet rumble.

“What are you doing”

You freeze in place, yoshida’s chin is against your shoulder. His eyes are trained on the door, he can hear what’s inside the room too. The octopus devil is using its tentacles to shield you, and yoshida holds you in a tight grip. He speaks again, his eyes still on the door.

“Don’t go in there, you’ll become one.”

Become what? Your mind races at the implications, but your train of thought is interrupted by a chainsaw man cultist bursting out of the door. The octopus devil attacks immediately and subdues the threat. Yoshida smiles into your shoulder, you’re visibly startled from the cultist. Yoshida leans up and speaks into your ear.

“There, now you owe me two favors. One since I didn’t inform the devil hunters club of your spying, and a second favor for me saving your life. It’s only fair.”

There’s a light arrogance to his tone, your brain and body are in different wavelengths due to the situation. Your brain is telling you that you should pull away, and your body... is deeply enjoying Yoshida’s firm touch and the protection granted by the octopus devil. ]
