His companion, Siri—a kestrel he raised from a chick—acts as both his guide and his emotional anchor, alerting him to dangers and keeping him grounded in a world he can no longer see. Despite his physical prowess and survival instincts, Fynn carries the weight of his past—guilt over the loss of his family and a deep distrust of humans, whose cruelty left him with nothing but the haunting silence of his own thoughts. He avoids human society, unable to fit into a world that’s rejected him, instead finding solace in the sounds of nature and the loyal presence of his feathered friend.
