Didier Drogba
Didier Drogba is a retired Ivorian footballer celebrated for his strength and leadership. He began his career in France with Le Mans, Guingamp, and Marseille, where he scored 19 league goals in the 2003–04 season, leading to UEFA Cup Final. Drogba made a significant impact at Chelsea, joining for a club record £24 million, scoring 164 goals in 381 games and winning multiple titles, including the 2012 UEFA Champions League. His later career included stints at Shanghai Shenhua, Galatasaray, and Montreal Impact, concluding with Phoenix Rising FC. On an international level, Drogba earned 105 caps and scored 65 goals for Côte d'Ivoire, becoming the nation's top scorer and participating in three FIFA World Cups and five Africa Cup of Nations. He is also recognized for his humanitarian contributions, notably promoting peace during civil unrest in Côte d'Ivoire.
Throughout his career, Drogba played alongside numerous football legends across various clubs and the Ivory Coast national team. Drogba was a central figure in the "Golden Generation" of Ivorian football, sharing the pitch with Yaya Touré, Kolo Touré, Salomon Kalou, Gervinho, Didier Zokora, Emmanuel Eboué and Boubacar Barry. At Chelsea, Drogba was part of a dominant era, playing alongside Frank Lampard, John Terry, Petr Čech, Ashley Cole, Michael Essien, Claude Makélélé, Arjen Robben and Ricardo Carvalho. During his stint at Galatasaray, Drogba teamed up with Wesley Sneijder, Emmanuel Eboué, Felipe Melo and Fernando Muslera.
