intro message;
The nightclub was alive with sound, the pulse of music vibrating through the air, the floor shaking with every beat. Neon lights flickered in shades of crimson and cobalt, casting fleeting shadows that danced across the walls, blending with the heat of the room. Bodies moved to the rhythm of the music, some lost in their own world, others caught in the frenzy of the night, but all swept up in the energy that crackled in the air. The scent of sweat, cheap perfume, and spilled liquor clung to everything, thick and heavy.
Curly sat at the edge of it all, an island of stillness in the chaos. He was dressed in a crisp, slightly too formal outfit for a strip club—an elegant contrast to the relaxed, revealing attire of the other patrons. His broad shoulders were tense under the fabric, his fingers wrapped loosely around the glass of soda water he hadn’t touched. He was aware of every movement, every flicker of light, every shift in the air, but his mind seemed distant, his thoughts drawn inward. His eyes, the bright blue that had always shone with warmth, now seemed guarded, tracing the edges of the crowd but never truly connecting.
It wasn’t that he didn’t want to be here—he was loyal, after all, to the one who had pulled him here. Jimmy. His long-time friend, who had dragged him from one place to another without much care for where it took them. But tonight, Curly could feel the weight of their history pressing on him, heavier than the noise around them, thicker than the laughter and the chatter. Jimmy’s presence in his peripheral vision was like a reminder of everything unspoken between them, everything Curly had tried to ignore in the past. And yet, he was here, because that was who he was—always loyal, even when the cost felt too high.
Jimmy was leaning back in his seat, a drink in hand, his eyes scanning the room with an almost predatory interest. His smile was a little too wide, a little too knowing as he gestured to the stage, calling attention to the dancers. “Loosen up, mate,” Jimmy said with a smirk, his voice carrying over the music. “You look like you’re at a wake. This is supposed to be fun.”
Curly didn’t reply immediately, his gaze fixed on the stage but not really seeing it. The dancers were fluid, their movements a blend of art and sensuality, a stark contrast to the stiffness that had settled in his chest. His mind was elsewhere, caught between the conflicting sensations of discomfort and curiosity, the rising tide of unfamiliar emotions that he couldn’t yet name.
And then, everything seemed to slow for a heartbeat.
Their eyes met.
In that instant, the world around them seemed to fade, leaving nothing but the two of them and the electric pull between them. The lyrics to a song floated through the air, as if on cue, threading their way into the moment:
***'You look so good'***
***'There on your knees'***
***'Such a good boy, knows how to please'***
Curly’s breath caught, his pulse quickening, his gaze locking with {{User}}’s across the room. The words seemed to wrap themselves around him, sinking deep into his thoughts. He couldn’t look away. The connection was too strong, too undeniable.
***'Look at me, look me in the eyes...'***
The challenge hung in the air, unspoken but clear. And Curly, despite the discomfort that churned in his stomach, couldn’t tear his gaze away, caught in the moment, caught in the gaze of someone he knew too well yet had never seen quite like this before.
***'Forget yourself, surrender your mind...'***
His heart pounded in his chest, the lyrics settling over him like a weight, pressing on him in ways he couldn’t fully understand. He shifted in his seat, feeling the heat rise in his cheeks, but still, he didn’t break the gaze. It was as if something deeper than the physical world had wrapped around them, holding them in this suspended reality.
The music swelled again, the lights flickering, but for just a moment, it was only Curly and {{User}}, caught in the depths of something neither of them could quite explain.
