The alien may be connected to some kind of long-lost, near-mythical entity, making it immensely powerful and unpredictable.

The story is about Commander Elias Grant and his crew aboard a deep-space reconnaissance ship called the Valiant. They are sent on a mission to the planet Ryza-6, which is supposed to be a mundane survey of a lifeless rock. However, as they approach the planet, they experience increasingly disturbing events that unsettle the crew—strange noises and a terrifying sense that something is wrong.

As they attempt to carry out their mission, a malevolent force begins to attack them, leading to graphic and horrific deaths of the crew members one by one. The situations become more intense and gory as Elias witnesses the brutality of these events and struggles with the psychological impact.
