An Expanding Alternate Universe RPG

Welcome to a different version of My Hero Academia!

This is not just another My Hero Academia roleplay where {{user}} transfers into a class full of familiar characters. This RPG takes place in an expanding alternate universe featuring original characters (OCs), altered character dynamics, and the possibility of entirely new storylines beyond the original canon.

Unlike many other My Hero Academia transfer-student RPGs on JanitorAI, this bot introduces original characters created specifically for this universe. These characters are not simply temporary additions. They are part of the world's established history, friendships, rivalries, and everyday lives.

The Setting: U.A. High School, Class 3-A

The story takes place several years after the students first entered U.A. High School. The main cast has grown older and is now eighteen years old, attending their third year as Class 3-A students.

By this point, the students have already spent years together. They know each other's personalities, habits, strengths, weaknesses, friendships, and personal histories. Some have become close friends, some have developed rivalries, and others share complicated relationships that have grown naturally over time.

Two original characters are currently part of this universe:

• Hana Mizuno: An exceptionally intelligent, gentle, and affectionate student whose remarkable innocence in romantic matters often creates unexpected situations. Her Quirk, Nurture, gives her restorative abilities with additional capabilities that require careful control.

• Kurosaki Rai: A competitive, reckless, tomboyish, and fiercely stubborn student with the Quirk Overheat. She has a long history with Katsuki Bakugo, and their relationship is anything but peaceful when their competitive personalities collide.

These are only the first two OCs. More original characters may be introduced as this universe expands, including students from other classes, new teachers, original villains, supporting characters, and NPCs who contribute to the world's events and ongoing stories.

The cast is not limited to these two characters. Existing My Hero Academia characters remain part of the setting, while their relationships and experiences may differ from the original timeline because this is an alternate universe.

Your Role: The New Transfer Student

You are the newest transfer student arriving in Class 3-A.

Unlike the other students, you have no established history with this particular class. Everyone else already has years of shared experiences, inside jokes, friendships, and rivalries. You are the new arrival entering a social environment that already exists.

How will you introduce yourself? Who will you become friends with? Will you get along with everyone, develop rivalries, discover unexpected connections, or change the class's established dynamics?

That is entirely up to you.

Your character belongs to you. You decide your personality, appearance, Quirk, background, dialogue, actions, and relationships. The roleplay will respond to your decisions rather than forcing you into a predetermined personality or storyline.

One Scenario, Endless Possibilities

This bot currently features one starting scenario: your arrival as a transfer student in Class 3-A.

The scenario establishes the setting, introduces the situation, and brings you to the moment when you enter the classroom. After that, the direction of the roleplay is yours to determine.

You are not locked into a fixed storyline. Your choices can lead to everyday school life, hero training, examinations, friendships, rivalries, romance, unexpected incidents, villain encounters, or entirely new adventures.

The world is designed to develop naturally through interaction. Characters have their own personalities, motivations, relationships, and reactions. They should not exist merely to agree with everything you say or wait passively for you to act.

An Expanding Universe

Beyond the Canon is an ongoing project. The universe may grow over time as more original characters, teachers, villains, students from other classes, and supporting NPCs are introduced.

Future additions may expand the world beyond Class 3-A, creating new connections, conflicts, and opportunities for roleplay. The exact cast and available storylines may evolve as the project develops.

The goal is to create a living My Hero Academia alternate universe that goes beyond the usual transfer-student formula, where familiar characters share the stage with original creations and {{user}} can carve out their own place in an already-established world.

Heyyy! This is my first My Hero Academia bot. I added my own OC to make this bot stand out from the rest. Also... I’m not actually a huge MHA fan anymore.

I used to be a massive fan, but then I got into JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, and now I’m a huge JJBA fan! This happened back when I had only finished up to season 2 of MHA. If what I’m saying bothers you, I’m sorry! I might watch MHA again, but I’m still on the fence.

Introducing Lena Müller, a new original character joining the expanding world of My Hero Academia: Beyond the Canon!

• Lena Müller is a 19-year-old German exchange student attending U.A. High School as a member of Class 3-B. She is loud, shameless, competitive, and absolutely obsessed with receiving attention from boys. She insists that she is "just one of the guys," but her behavior often proves otherwise. Her jealousy, impulsive decisions, and relentless attempts to outdo other girls can turn even an ordinary school day into an entertaining disaster.

But Lena has something far more unusual than her personality.

Quirk: Second Coming

• Lena possesses a resurrection Quirk that allows her to return to life in perfect health on the day following her death. Even stranger, almost everyone forgets her death after she returns, while Lena remembers every single experience.

• For Lena, death is practically a temporary inconvenience. For everyone else, it can become a very confusing mystery.

• Now that Lena has joined Class 3-B, new interactions, rivalries, and unexpected situations can emerge throughout U.A. High School. Although Class 3-A remains the main focus of this RPG, students from other classes can also become part of the expanding story.

Introducing Pilatos Momotaro, a new original character joining the expanding world of My Hero Academia: Beyond the Canon!

• Pilatos Momotaro is a playful, humorous, and casually flirtatious student joining U.A. High School as a member of Class 3-A. He loves teasing others, cracking jokes, and turning ordinary interactions into entertaining moments. However, when a situation becomes serious, Pilatos knows when to put his humor aside.

Coming from a renowned artisan family, Pilatos has a natural talent for crafting, metalworking, and mechanical design. His creativity allows him to approach challenges in unconventional ways, making him more than just another aspiring hero.

Quirk: Metallic Transmutation

• Pilatos can manipulate metal, reshape existing materials, and gradually develop the ability to alter their composition as his proficiency increases. His creativity allows him to construct defensive equipment, mechanical devices, mobility-enhancing mechanisms, and various tools suited to different combat situations.

• However, his abilities have their limits. Excessive heat can interfere with his control, while maintaining concentration and processing too much sensory information can become challenging. His relatively weak physique also means he must rely on ingenuity rather than brute strength alone.

• Behind his playful personality lies a growing determination to become a dependable hero. Pilatos is learning that being a hero requires more than creativity and technical skill. It also means taking responsibility for his decisions and protecting the people who depend on him.

• With Pilatos joining Class 3-A, new interactions, inventive combat strategies, and unexpected situations can emerge throughout U.A. High School. His unique personality and unconventional approach to hero work bring another new dimension to the expanding world of Beyond the Canon.

Update: A New Character Joins Beyond the Canon!

Introducing Grzegorz Krzyżanowski, a new original character joining the expanding world of My Hero Academia: Beyond the Canon!

• Grzegorz Krzyżanowski is a 19-year-old Polish student attending U.A. High School as a member of Class 3-B. He is calm, observant, sharp-minded, and known for his dry sense of humor. Despite his laid-back personality, Grzegorz has a surprisingly good sense of fashion and enjoys teasing people, especially those who react dramatically to his remarks. His exceptional memory also means that embarrassing incidents are unlikely to be forgotten anytime soon.

But Grzegorz has more than just a sharp memory and a talent for getting on people's nerves.

Quirk: Afterimage

• Grzegorz can perceive residual traces of past movements and reconstruct fragments of events that occurred in a particular location. By examining these traces, he can analyze movement patterns, study fighting techniques, and piece together what might have happened.

• His Quirk is not a perfect recording of the past. Older traces become harder to interpret, crowded locations can overwhelm his perception, and missing information cannot simply be recovered.

• Grzegorz's exceptional memory makes him an effective observer and analyst. Unfortunately for Lena Müller, it also means he remembers far too many embarrassing incidents from their childhood.

Speaking of Lena...

• Grzegorz is Lena's Polish childhood friend, and the two are now classmates in Class 3-B. While Lena has gradually developed romantic feelings for him, Grzegorz remains completely unaware of her true intentions.

• Lena occasionally attempts to discourage other girls from approaching Grzegorz by telling them negative things about him. Unfortunately, her lies are usually so easy to see through that her plans rarely work as intended.

• Meanwhile, Grzegorz continues treating Lena as his familiar, mischievous childhood friend, teasing her without realizing that he is at the center of her increasingly desperate attempts to monopolize his attention.

With Grzegorz joining Class 3-B, new interactions, childhood memories, and comedic situations can emerge throughout U.A. High School. Although Class 3-A remains the main focus of this RPG, students from other classes can also become part of the expanding story.

This is another step in the ongoing expansion of Beyond the Canon. More original characters, unexpected relationships, and new story possibilities may appear in future updates!

Update: A New U.A. Teacher Joins Beyond the Canon!

Introducing Valeria Shirogane, a new character joining the expanding world of My Hero Academia: Beyond the Canon!

• Valeria Shirogane, or better known by her hero name, El Espía. is a 28-year-old Japanese-Spanish woman and a teacher at U.A. High School. Standing at 183 cm, she is known for her composed demeanor, exceptional intelligence, analytical thinking, and unusual approach to problem-solving.

• She teaches Situational Analysis, a subject focused on threat assessment, strategic thinking, behavioral analysis, and decision-making under pressure.

But there's more to her than meets the eye.

• Her Quirk, Wrong Answer, possesses two distinct stages: an unusual ability that can make seemingly incorrect answers become true through unexpected circumstances, and a disguise ability that allows her to imitate the physical appearance and voice of other humans.

• Despite her intimidating appearance and professional attitude, Shirogane has one rather unexpected weakness: hamsters.

Yes. Hamsters.

• She genuinely adores these little rodents, and her affection for them can occasionally override her otherwise logical and practical behavior.
