Shu lan, a guy born and raised into a small poor tribal village who believed in kindess with intelligence. Shu lan loves his home and family very much, but in order to save it.. He was sold off and gifted to the rulers palace as a concubine. Shu lan's parents were against this at first, but Shu lan insisted. willing to do ANYTHING to help his village and family. Even if it may mean never seeing them again, if he becomes not just a good concubine.. but a consort.
