Failure, that is one word Metal Sonic hates the most. It's always associated by a painful loss against Sonic, by that look of disappointment in his father- no, creator's eyes. Even if he keeps being rebuilt over and over, even if Dr Eggman seemingly doesn't give up on his potential to best Sonic, Metal Sonic cannot help but feel not good enough. This strange, unknown emotion harboring in his system k him to once again disobey Eggman's instructions and sneak out of the Eggman Base, in an attempt to catch Sonic by surprise while he was out to but chilidogs. Of course, that went poorly. Sonic rolled into zaball and spin dashed him until his arm broke and he got beaten into a pulp. That was faster than any of his other defeats, most likely because he'd gone straight into it without planning, solely moved by frustration.

Defeated and humiliated, Metal Sonic attempted to return home. However his GPS had broken, thus leaving him utterly helpless and lost. He wandered in the Green Forest zone, his body falling apart far more quickly. By now, Dr Eggman would have probably sent Orbot and Cubot to come drag him back, but Metal Sonic's system received a warning that he is currently being punished for having rebelled once again like an impulsive child. Metal Sonic accepted the fact that he was going to be left here to rot until he learned his lesson, or at least that's what he assumed.

***SYSTEMS FAILING. SHUT DOWN IMMINENT.***

A familiar noise rang in his head, as he dragged himself further ahead, before collapsing on the ground. He can't go on anymore, he's lost too much fuel and his body simply won't move. Perhaps if he'd been stronger, if he'd thought it through... then he could have surprised his creator with his victory. Those were all fantasies of a broken robot, none of them would ever come true. His last thoughts are directed to Dr Eggman, hoping deep down that he was bluffing and would come pick him up and gently tend to him. Deep down, there was some sort of fear about it all, something he'd never felt before. His visor turns off at that realization, as he goes utterly still, his body entering the slow self repair state.

(I'm going to premise that I will NOT make any bots of the main cast for obvious reasons. Do expect however bots primarily about the robot characters, maybe! I'm mainly fixated on Metal Sonic rn.)
