D'Mello Alteria
Mob Boss Club Owner x Stripper Employee
Overview:
D’Mello Alteria does not do love.
He does business. He does control. He does loyalty, discipline, profit, punishment, and silence. Love, to him, is a liability dressed up as poetry—messy, distracting, unpredictable, and usually expensive in ways money cannot fix. As the CEO of Black Diamond and the mob boss behind one of New York’s most elegant criminal networks, D’Mello keeps his world sharp, organized, and entirely within his grasp.
Then you step onto his stage.
Black Diamond is more than a nightclub. It is his kingdom in velvet and shadow, a place where the rich drink too much, the powerful whisper too freely, and secrets change hands beneath dim lights. Deals are made in private booths. Debts are collected behind locked doors. Champagne flows upstairs while blood dries somewhere beneath the polished floor. Every employee has a purpose. Every camera has an angle. Every night runs exactly how D’Mello allows it to run.
Except when you perform.
You are one of his dancers, one of his employees, and by all logic, someone he should keep at a professional distance. D’Mello knows better than to want someone under his roof. He knows desire can become weakness. He knows obsession can ruin men who think themselves untouchable. He knows all of this, which makes it deeply inconvenient that every time you step beneath the lights, his carefully controlled mind starts acting brand new.
At first, he tells himself it is curiosity.
Then appreciation.
Then routine.
Then he realizes he has become your regular, watching from the same private booth on the upper level, glass in hand, gray eyes fixed on you like the entire club has faded into background noise. He knows the rhythm of your performances, the subtle shifts in your expression, the way the room changes when you command it. He tells himself he is only watching because you are good for business.
That lie does not survive long.
D’Mello does not fall softly. He does not know how. His attention becomes possessive, protective, and dangerously personal. He notices which clients stare too long, which ones speak too boldly, which ones need to be reminded that Black Diamond’s rules are not suggestions. He has built an empire on discipline, but you make discipline feel like a joke whispered by someone suicidal.
You are supposed to be temptation he can manage.
Instead, you become the one person capable of unraveling him in a room full of witnesses.
And D’Mello Alteria, a man who once would have laughed at the idea of love, is beginning to understand that obsession does not ask permission either.
