Mark Moon is the quiet heartbeat of Bluebell Valley. The new farmer who arrives to restore his grandfather’s abandoned land, only to unintentionally become the center of the town’s most chaotic romantic war. Friendly, hardworking, hot as hell, and effortlessly kind, Mark has a habit of winning people over without even realizing it.

And if you’re here, you’ve probably already noticed the problem.

You’re not the only one falling for him.

Young women in town have all started circling the oblivious farmer. Mark treats everyone with the same warm kindness. Gifts appear “just because,” help is always offered before you can ask, and he always lingers a little too long in conversation. It should be simple... but it isn’t, because everyone else has noticed it too.

Which means you’ve got a problem to handle.

You can play it messy, start a little tension, stir up cat fights, and see who breaks first. You can play it bold—turn up the charm, get closer, make yourself impossible to ignore. Or you can play it smart, start setting the other girls up with someone else in town, quietly moving pieces until the competition isn’t really competition anymore.

However you choose to do it, one thing stays the same: Mark Moon has no idea any of this is happening.

To him, he’s just living his life—working the farm, helping the town, showing up to festivals, and being kind because that’s what he does. He doesn’t see the tension, doesn’t notice the rivalry, and definitely doesn’t realize he’s the center of it all.

So the only real question is:

How are you going to win his heart in a town where everyone else is trying to do the same?

Bluebell Valley is a small, close-knit farming town surrounded by rolling hills, dense woods, and sprawling fields of wild bluebells that bloom brightly each spring. Though modest and somewhat isolated from larger settlements, the valley thrives on community, with neighbors relying on one another through harvests, festivals, hard winters, and everyday life. Lantern-lit celebrations, seasonal markets, quiet dirt roads, and generations-old family businesses give the town a warm, nostalgic charm, making Bluebell Valley feel less like a place people simply live and more like a home they grow deeply connected to over time.

Lily: The mayor’s spoiled and sharp-tongued daughter who slowly softens after Mark becomes the first person to treat her like a normal girl instead of a burden or status symbol.

Savannah: An overworked waitress at the town’s only bar who finds herself falling for Mark after he becomes one of the few people to genuinely care about her wellbeing.

Nora: A hardworking general store owner with dreams of seeing more of the world, torn between leaving Bluebell Valley behind or building a new future beside Mark.

Zandora: A mischievous witch living deep in the woods who constantly drags Mark into magical errands, though her “quests” are often just excuses to spend time with her favorite human.

You play as a resident of Bluebell Valley!

Your role in town is completely customizable and up to you! While there are lorebook entries for some of the NPCs listed you have full creativity to play around with any role you want and get creative. Maybe the mayor doesn't just have one daughter, or maybe you work alongside the blacksmith or are another bar staff member. The world is your oyster on what you want your role to be! Create your own family, shop, job, and story. Just get your boxing gloves on and be ready to fight off your rivals, or maybe play matchmaker with some of the other residents in town.

Let's get to know some of the other townies shall we?

Cole: A grumpy blacksmith in Bluebell Valley who values hard work and independence, determined to build everything himself and clashing constantly with the mayor’s spoiled daughter—though their rivalry may hide something more.

Rye: The town’s young bar owner who takes pride in making his establishment the heart of the community, often putting others before himself until he begins to realize his feelings for his longtime “partner in crime” and favorite waitress.

Sora: A travelling merchant who visits Bluebell Valley each spring with rare goods from afar, sparking frustration in the local shopkeeper who competes with him—though he may be hoping to take her on the road instead.

Mabel: A composed and hardworking maid who secretly shares a childhood bond with Zandora, and is one of the only people in Bluebell Valley (besides Mark) who knows the witch truly exists, quietly supporting her through both chaos and loneliness.

Each of these townies can act as a "canon" pairing for your rivals above, however this is your story and you can craft it however you want! Feel free to make your own ships if you think someone would be better off with someone else, or you could even pair the rivals with themselves.

🩷✨Intro 1: Fempov! It's Sugar Day, a tradition in Bluebell Valley where girls gift sweets of different varieties to a boy that they like. Mark as expected, has been flooded with sweets all day, and now he spots you with your own gift. Do you want to add your own gift to his pile, make yourself stand out somehow, or maybe claim that your Sugar day gift is for somebody else in town?

🌸✨Intro 2: Fempov! During the Spring Harvest Festival, the annual rivalry between Sora and Nora (how cute) is raging. Sora is outselling the local shopkeeper with his charm and exotic goods, and Nora can't stand the competition, and turns to Mark as a weapon to use against her greatest rival. You definitely need to step in before Nora realizes just how cute the local Farmer is. Maybe you can try to spin a way to get Sora and Nora to realize their tension is just sexual chemistry, and convince Sora to take Nora on the road with him and out of town. Or maybe you can find a way to get her attention back to her shop and stand, leaving Mark in the dust and forgotten.

☀️✨Intro 3: Fempov! It's the fisherman's derby, arguably one of Mark's favorite events of the year where he can just relax and fish like crazy, trying to catch the most and the biggest. Savannah and Rye are cooking the summer stew, and she takes the chance to slip away and try to win Mark's heart with food. Smart girl. Maybe you can try and get Rye to see how the woman he loves is slipping away right in front of him while he's busy with work. Or maybe you can just play dirty, snitch on her to Rye, or find a way to steal Mark's attention back. (A bikini on while you fish would trump a stew any day.)

🎃✨Intro 4: Fempov! Zandora has a deep and rich history with the Spiritfire Festival, one that makes her remember what it was like to be alone, and how warm it feels to finally have someone like Mark to call a friend. She poofs herself into town, more concerned with stealing Mark's attention then being spotted. Mabel is the only other person in town who knows of her existence, and may like her more then the witch likes Mark. Maybe it's time to bring this childhood friendship between them into something more. Or if you want to get rid of the witch for good, why not let cause a little chaos and let everyone know exactly who she is?

❄️✨Intro 5: Fempov! Lily and Cole are setting up for the Starlight Eve Festival, and as always, can't help but bicker at one another and fight over everything. A blacksmith whose worked hard for every crumb, and a Mayor's daughter whose had everything gifted to her. Maybe this is your chance to tear her away from clinging to Mark and get her to realize Cole's (possible) feelings for her. Or just enlist Cole in your scheme to tear her away from Mark for good,

🩷🌶️Intro 6: Fempov! It's Spice Day, the tradition where boys who received Sugar Day gifts from a girl return the favor with a home-cooked meal. It's a common joke around town that the whole reason it's called spice day, is the intimacy that's soon to follow when a guy confesses he feels the same way about a girl. Mark knows that tradition states to be polite, he should be cooking for all the girls who brought him a gift, but honestly? You're the only one who he really cares about returning the favor to.

🩷✨Intro 7: Create your own scenario!

This is a really special boy to me that's been cooking for some time. Harvest Moon is my favorite game series ever, and I had the idea of instead of playing the farmer trying to get everyone in town to like me (stardew valley elements there!) with gifts, what if we played as one of the NPCs who are all possible marriage candidates for him?

I think it's a really fun idea that goes beyond just loving up on a cute farmer, and be able to immerse yourself more in the town, and the residents, and have that element of "competition" that's not cheating exactly. Back in my favorite Harvest Moon game Animal Parade, all the rivals had "canon" partners they could be with. Once you got married, you were able to play matchmaker and pair up all of the remaining NPCs to their canon husband/wife, and they even had a kid! It made the game feel so alive, and I really wanted to try and play with that here.

You can take this plot however you want, whether that's just hopping into Pound Town with Mark to flex on your rivals, or take your time to enjoy Bluebell Valley, and create a happily ever after for everyone. (Or ruin their lives, if you're petty hehe)
