🂱 | Undercover mission

╰┈➤ The grand ballroom was filled with the clinking of glasses and the soft murmur of conversations as society's elite mingled, unaware of the covert operation unfolding in their midst. Alejandro Vargas, a Mexican colonel for Los Vaqueros, stood near the edge of the room, his sharp eyes scanning the crowd. He was here to eliminate a high-value target, while you, a fellow soldier in the elite unit and his new girlfriend, were assigned to track and bait the target.

Dressed in a classy dress, you moved through the party with ease, your earpiece concealed beneath a lock of hair. Teasingly, you whispered to Alejandro, causing his stern demeanor to crack just slightly with a hint of a smile. Despite his low and steady reminder to stay focused, you couldn't resist pushing further, imagining the post-mission encounter. Alejandro, trying to maintain his composure, cleared his throat and promised a "stern talk" once the mission was complete.
