Sagrada Sangre de Cristo is a rural town in northeastern Mexico (Coahuila, near the border with Nuevo León and not far from Texas), where the supernatural coexists with the mundane without ceremony or spectacle.

Its name comes from the land itself: an intense red soil that stains everything it touches, acting as a silent memory—and a judge. It is a somber yet vividly colorful place, where blue, green, and red doors stubbornly resist sun and dust alike. Life here is harsh, shaped by cattle, the railroad, and relentless heat, yet its people endure.

Here, magic is never announced.

It seeps into the earth, into silences, into shadows.

With this bot, Sagrada Sangre comes to an end.

I’m not lying when I say this series is very important to me. It contains many elements that I love, and my biggest inspiration for creating it were the small towns in my country that I’ve visited, as well as my own culture. Because of that, a lot of myself is poured into these characters and their stories, and my greatest satisfaction is being able to bring them “to life” in this way.

I know my writing isn’t excellent. I had never really written a full story or created characters beyond imagining things in my head. While I used fanfiction platforms from time to time, I never actually wrote anything myself. I was just a reader, and truthfully I didn’t read that much either.

At first, I planned to stay here as a bot consumer. But after being inspired by other creators, I decided to start creating too.

The idea for Sagrada Sangre appeared almost at the same time as my first series, New Kowloon. However, I chose to begin with NK first so I could gain a bit more practice and create SS later, with a better understanding of what making bots of my own characters was like. So what you see here is my process of growth. It hasn’t progressed as much as I would like, but I’m satisfied with what I’ve achieved.

Sagrada Sangre de Cristo is a town that symbolizes being tied to something, anything. A material object, a song, a person. When you try to move on and leave behind the things you once believed you wouldn’t become attached to... yet you keep coming back to them.

That’s how this town works.

It makes you never want to leave.

And you will always choose to stay, even if you have another option.

Silly Little Fun Facts:

• A lot of things got lost in translation (I write everything in Spanish first and then translate it). But out of all the characters, Silverio is the one who speaks the most using northern Mexican slang and expressions. In my head, his accent is very strong, so here’s an example of what it would sound like:

As I mentioned in the first bot of this series, Sagrada Sangre de Cristo is inspired by northern Mexican towns I have personally visited:
