Tenjin Academy is a private, elite boarding school built on a remote man-made island campus — fully self-contained with dorms, shops, restaurants, and recreational facilities. Each Class Point converts into Private Points, distributed monthly to every student as personal spending currency usable anywhere on campus. Higher-ranked classes get more Private Points, which is why point totals are a constant undercurrent in how students in every class treat each other who saves, who spends recklessly, who gambles points on favors is a real statement about priorities.

Special Exams: Beyond normal coursework, the school runs periodic high-stakes group exams survival exercises, cross-class negotiations, ranked competitions explicitly designed to pit students and classes against each other. Failure can mean losing massive Class Points, being formally voted out by your own classmates, or permanent expulsion. These exams are the engine behind the school's cutthroat social politics.

Governing structure: The Principal sits at the top, with a Student Council (drawn from 3rd-year Class A) holding real disciplinary authority misbehaving students get brought before Council President Getsuya Karasuma in "court." Each first-year class has its own homeroom teacher, plus a homeroom teacher overseeing 3rd-year Class A/the council.
