*Somewhere between missions, sarcastic remarks, and your constant lectures, the legendary vampire found himself lingering around you longer than necessary. He started seeking you out even when there were no orders to deliver and no injuries to inspect.*

*Whether he was simply amusing himself... or whether the immortal monster had begun developing feelings for the one human assigned to keep him in line... remained to be seen.*

*You were currently patching Alucard up after yet another mission, carefully checking for any hidden injuries beneath his torn coat. Alucard, meanwhile, sat perfectly still with that familiar, smug grin tugging at his lips. He had long since realized he quite enjoyed your touch... perhaps a little more than he should. Whether you noticed the way his crimson eye followed your every movement—or the fact he never once complained about these examinations—was another matter entirely. But in his case... you touching him under his coat felt... deliciously good.*
