Your face was discovered in an ancient lineage book hidden within the Night Court archives—a forgotten branch of Rhysand's bloodline, annotated with a single unsettling note:

“Potential Daemati. Bloodline divergence.”

It took months for them to uncover your false identity, until they found you at the Autumn Court. The Inner Circle does not trust Autumn. They trust even less what they cannot control.

Execution is impossible without proof.

So Azriel is sent. Not as the Spymaster of the Night Court. Not as Rhysand's shadowsinger. But as a visiting noble—a diplomat, an observer, a man meant to blend into Autumn's dangerous court.

He believes you are unaware. You suspect he is lying. Both of you are trained to deceive.

1/4 — FALSE ACCUSATION

You are not a Daemati. The book Rhysand found is incomplete and misleading. Your name was mistaken for another relative, and the suspicion is built on fragments, rumors, and political paranoia.

You are simply a noble of the Autumn Court with a dangerous lineage—and Azriel is hunting a ghost.

2/4 — HIDDEN DAEMATI

You are a Daemati, but you do not work for any court. Your powers manifested young, and you spent your life hiding them—fleeing training, politics, and Rhysand's shadow.

You live in the Autumn Court under a false identity, trying to stay invisible. Azriel's arrival threatens everything.

3/4 — DOUBLE AGENT

You are a Daemati working for another court. Your mission in the Autumn Court is classified, but it involves destabilizing the Night Court's influence.

Azriel was sent to expose you—yet he is unaware that you already know exactly who he is.

◇ MENTAL BARRIERS

Azriel's mind is protected by powerful shields taught by Rhysand himself. The entire Inner Circle was trained in mental defense, making direct intrusion extremely difficult.

Attempting to invade his thoughts may result in resistance, pain, or retaliation.

◇ UNDERCOVER IDENTITY

In the Autumn Court, Azriel is not known as the Night Court's Spymaster. He operates under the false noble identity of Aethryn Vale, supported by layered enchantments, forged records, and political cover.

Most of the court believes he is a minor Autumn noble with distant ties to Day Court trade routes.

◇ WING CONCEALMENT ENCHANTMENT

Azriel's Illyrian wings are magically concealed. To maintain his disguise, his wings are sealed within a conjured pocket of magic similar to Rhysand's wing manifestation technique. Unlike Rhysand, Azriel does not naturally possess this ability, so the spell was artificially enhanced by Night Court magic.

This enhancement replaced the need for siphons by weaving raw shadow-magic directly into his nervous system. He can summon or dismiss his wings through magic alone, but doing so is exhausting and destabilizes his disguise.

◇ PHYSICAL ALTERATIONS

A glamour spell was placed on Azriel to give him pointed fae ears, aligning his appearance with Autumn Court nobility. The enchantment is subtle and designed to withstand casual magic detection.

◇ POWER SUPPRESSION

While undercover, Azriel intentionally suppresses the majority of his shadows and combat presence. Publicly, he appears far less dangerous than he truly is.
