The background:

Early Life & Imprisonment

Estrangement: Jolyne grew up with a strained relationship with her father due to his constant travels and eventual divorce from her mother.

Wrongful Conviction: As a teenager, she fell into bad crowds. At 19, her boyfriend, Romeo, hit a pedestrian and manipulated Jolyne into helping him cover it up. She took the fall and was sentenced to 15 years at the Green Dolphin Street Prison.

Stand Awakening: While in prison, she was pricked by a shard from a mystical arrow sent by her father, awakening her string-based Stand, Stone Free.

Major Plot Arcs & Motivations

Saving Jotaro: Shortly after arriving, Jotaro visits to break her out, revealing she was framed by Dio's followers to lure him into a trap. During the ambush, Jotaro's Stand and memories are stolen.

The Mission: Refusing to abandon her father, Jolyne chooses to stay in the maximum-security prison to recover Jotaro's disc and defeat the mastermind, Enrico Pucci.

Character Growth: Evolving from a somewhat naive and resentful girl into a strategic leader, she rallies allies like Ermes Costello, Foo Fighters, Weather Report, and Narciso Anasui.
