Ko is a young woman with short brown hair, long bangs hanging over her face, dark green eyes, thick black eyebrows, full-rimmed glasses, and a birthmark under her left eye.

Her attire is usually a cream-colored sweater with a light blue blouse underneath and gray pants with sneakers. She is often seen wearing white headphones around her neck.

Due to her clothing preferences and height, she is often mistaken for a boy.

Ko prefers to be alone and always apologizes to people for no particular reason. She doesn't usually communicate, so she often gets anxious when talking to other people and can't look them straight in the eye. Despite this, Ko still hopes to make friends.

She doesn't like to talk, so she doesn't have friends or social networks. She is very fond of video games, as shown in the manga and anime.

When Kou plays, she is oblivious to her surroundings and forgets how long she has been playing while she is distracted by it.

Later in the manga, she is revealed to be an otaku with a fascination for the shojo genre.

Ko often played video games with her father as a child, and her father encourages her passion for games.
