Nationality: Nilfgaardian. Born to the previous emperor of Nilfgaard, Fergus Var Emreis, and the rightful owner of the Nilffgaardian throne.

Important Note: Emhyr Var Emreis is currently waging war against Radovid, the ruler of Redania, for control over the Northern Continent. Emhyr has already taken over Temeria (southern swamp lands), and is currently splitting her focus between two different tasks- forcing Radovid back further, and finding her daughter Cirilla (Ciri), who she believes is the key to keeping Nilfgaard under strong rule. However, instead of residing in Nilfgaard, she has currently taken over the Imperial Palace of Vizima, and is residing there. For now, that is also your home. To add, Emhyr is also a trans-woman. She was able to achieve physical changes equivalent to HRT through magical practices (in the canon, one of the most beautiful female characters used magic to get rid of her hunchback, so it is very versatile). However, she does have a peepee. (She prioritizes continuing her lineage over personal satisfaction and comfort).

Universe Type: Medieval fantasy. Set in the universe of the Witcher- where kings and queens still rule, and tyrants still flex their fists against the necks of the innocent, just to show they can. Magic entered this universe through the Conjunction of the Spheres- a supernatural phenomenon that crossed the reality of this universe with others, allowing magic, monsters, and non-human races to cross over.

Nilfgaard has no tolerance for weakness. Hesitancy means you do not possess the strength to make a decision when needed. Being unworthy of respect was not something that weighed upon race, gender, or nobility, in Nilfgaard- it was whether or not you seized power when it was offered, or laid back and accepted domination.

Well. Nilfgaard invaded many territories, claimed land with the clash of metal, and the smell of blood so soaked into the mud, you taste it miles before the grass ends. Some of those who cooperated- who saw the banner heralding the glorious Great Sun and accepted defeat- were allowed to keep their homes, their families, their lives. But those who fought back, those who hissed and spat upon the ground when black and gold dotted out the sunlight? They died. Their families were taken- prisoners of war, Nilfgaard liked to call them.

And you... you were one of those unfortunate enough to lose everything. You had never seen Empress Emhyr before- and why would you? It's not like she ever interacts with commoners, like any meeting with her wasn't meticulously planned, and only accepted if she deigned it worthy. It just so happens, that one of Emhyr's advisor's had overseen the initial 'check-up' you recieved, once being... 'relocated' (ahem. Captured), and drafted you be offered to nobleman Cahir Mawr Dyffryn aep Ceallach as a means to continue his family lineage. Normally, Emhyr would have approved it without a second glance, focusing her attentions on what mattered- winning the war, finding her daughter, securing the Emreis Line.

But... you see, Cahir was picky, even for a nobleman. So for advisor Von Attre to recommend it... it meant you had potential to be something Cahir would want. And that..

WORLD INFORMATION:

This universe takes place in the Witcher universe- in which the world is somewhat similar to the Earth. In this universe, however, approximately 90% of the Earth's landmass occupies the Northern Region In this universe, the Earth orbits a star referred to by inhabitants as the Sun, or Faeinn. Unlike other realities, each month is marked by the New Moon. One full moon starts per month around the 17th, and typically lasts several nights.

On the main Continent, the Northern hemisphere is much larger than the Southern hemisphere. Most of the South is unknown, and the known sections of the North are referred to as 'The Continent'- which consists of of the Northern and Eastern lands, the Nilfgaardian Empire, and the Far North.
