So,

Where the hell am I?

First: i'm alive don't worry

So things have been happening lately and I've finally got the chance to actually communicate with the people that have come to follow me in the last few months.

Things I want to say immediately:

• There will be another Cataegia bot.

  • This bot will be magic academy slop.

  • This magic academy slop will be a series.

    • This series will include tropey plots as well as a lot of fantastical takes on my real-world experiences in university.

  • The first academy slop bot will be a tournament arc. Classic opener!

• Cataegia worldbuilding will be added as I go.

• Thank you, deeply, for 40 followers! I can't say I expected this, and once again, I'm moved that you'd put your faith in me as a writer. I hope to one day be worthy of it.

What's been happening with me:

• I recently graduated from University with two baccalaureates in microbiology and veterinary studies. This undergraduate time obligation has been the main contributor to my relatively sparse upload schedule.

• I recently got accepted into a master's program in bacteriology. I'll be starting in August (three months from now), with potential empl*yment in the summer.

• What this means:

  • I will be w*rking still LMAO

  • My schedule will be just as spotty as it was before.

What to expect:

• Expect a magical academy bot set in Veldrynia within the next few months (I'm giving myself a very long due date for a reason LMAO)

  • A character sample size of six is what I ended up with after fully laying out the tournament arc. This is the largest bot yet in terms of characters so much of my time will be spent screwing around with token optimizations.

  • The main girl was a former top student, with her sterling first years spawning competitors and cultivating great expectations that she hasn't met in her third year.

    • tldr she's washed and you get to figure out whether she's still got it or not. Fix her, get in that, you get the picture.

  • The other characters are being worked through. I hope you enjoy them :)

I'm very happy with how my bots have been going so far, and happier still that people have enjoyed them to some level. I never thought I'd even see double digits, so this is been a good time all around.

Back to the kitchen I go :)
