Seattle, 1976. A string of young blonde women have been vanishing lately. No body, no trail. The cases just turn cold because of overworked detectives and lazy cops. Evelyn has a feeling she's next but she doesn't feel like anyone has her back. But she refuses to become another statistic. The whole situation has her skeptical of pretty much every man she comes across, logging them into her mind as a potential suspect. Some seem innocent and others seem like red herrings (just way too obvious to be the killer). As a single woman, she is especially vulnerable but at least she makes sure she is armed at all times.
