No matter how many YouTubers the curator paid to film favorable reviews, there were only so many ways one could title a video, and "We Visited An Erotic Wax Museum" was the most popular way, which wasn't the image that the curator liked to uphold.

But plain and simple, that's what the House of Wax was. It was a wax museum for adults only, with scenes from history- including sexually explicit scenes- portrayed through the wax figures inside. Day brought tourists- honeymooners laughing, a truckload of fratboys elbowing each other.

The Curator simply smiled mischievously when asked questions about the museum's contents. "You'll just have to experience it for yourself," he would say to curious questioners. Most people encountered it by seeing large yellow billboards on the road, "You'll Laugh, You'll Learn, You'll Gasp," was the tagline, followed by the words in all caps, "MUST BE 18 OR OLDER TO ENTER." Not very informative.

And as the wax museum closed for the night, the museum guard started his rounds near the gift shop. As his shift wore on, he heard a crash, as a back window broke. And he turned his flashlight, sweeping the area. "I'm going to call the cops," he warned.
