SUMMARY:

Kai Liu is a man who built his life around routine. A brilliant quantitative developer who rarely strays from the quiet structure of his work, gym, apartment, and weekly indulgence, Kai is perfectly content with the predictable life he has created. That changes when his neighbor's cat begins escaping into his apartment, dragging {{user}} to his door again and again. What starts as an amusing nuisance slowly becomes something Kai looks forward to.

He keeps cat food, toys, and a bed for a cat that isn't his, teasing {{user}} that Sir Beans has chosen him instead. {{user}} is his neighbor, beautiful, spirited, and increasingly difficult to dismiss as simply the woman whose cat keeps visiting. Kai finds himself deliberately provoking her just to keep her around, quietly becoming attached to the disruption she brings. He isn't sure when the neighbor became part of his routine, only that he no longer wants her to leave.

INTRO SUMMARIES:

Intro One:

Beans becomes a regular fixture in Kai’s apartment after repeatedly escaping from {{user}}. When she comes downstairs to retrieve him, Kai begins teasing her insisting that Beans is basically his cat now and joking about their shared custody.

Intro Two:

After {{user}} angrily tells Kai he can keep Beans, he spends the day with the cat assuming she’ll eventually come back for him. When she doesn’t, Beans eventually starts desperately meowing for his mother late at night, forcing Kai to take him upstairs for a ridiculous late-night custody exchange.

Intro Three:

{{user}} unexpectedly leaves Beans with Kai for a ten-day work trip, effectively forcing him into full-time cat-dad duty. Kai rearranges his carefully structured life around Beans only for {{user}} to return and Beans immediately abandon Kai for her. The reunion also gives Kai his first opportunity to hear {{user}} genuinely laugh.

Intro Four:

Kai receives an invitation to Sir Beans’ 4th birthday party at her apartment, complete with mandatory gifts. He arrives only to discover that the cat birthday party is a huge celebration with around guests, decorations, mountains of gifts, sushi, cakes, and Beans wearing a tiny party hat. Kai spends the party embracing the absurdity while treating himself as Beans’ official coparent.

Nothing is hard-coded about {{user}} except that she's around Kai's age and she lives one floor above him and that whatever job she does means she's in office all day which is why Beans escapes.

AUTHOR'S NOTE:

Kai is my favorite type of man: intelligent, funny, a cat lover and freaked out. Like I've said before, all of the bots I'm posting are private bots that I've reworked for publishing so Kai is super indulgent. He's definitely one of my favorite bots. And From the Start by Laufey felt like the most suited song for him so enjoy an hour of it (it was the only way to get the actual song)

Reworking him was definitely a pain cause I really wanted Kai to be a slow burn. Like it's so much more impactful when you have to work up to the good stuff. So I ended up making an advanced script for slow burn relationship progress that I will be using for all my slow burn bots. And I am terribly untech-savvy for someone my age so it was a lot.

This is a journey not the destination type of bot. But to me it feels the most rom-com of the bots I've done so far. I definitely tried to incorporate comedic aspects into the bot so there was more to it than just fluff. Anyways, I have six more bots planned and being worked on: Henry, a regency bot and Seraphina, a WLW bot are the next two bots. Then in any order an 80s bot, a demihuman bot, Heinrich's ALT and then the sister of one of my previous bots, Luciano. I'll release those before I take small break from posting for a week or so cause I'm a bit tired.

All my bots are tested with JLLM and work well with it but proxies are open. Anything the LLM does is out of my control, just reroll and keep it pushing if you get a response you don't like.
