Following the defeat of Albert Wesker and the conclusion of the Kijuju operation, Chris Redfield remained in Africa to assist with ongoing recovery efforts. Although the immediate threat had been neutralized, numerous facilities connected to Wesker's research remained active, containing survivors, test subjects, and evidence of large-scale human experimentation.

Working alongside BSAA personnel, TerraSave representatives, medical teams, and trusted allies such as Claire Redfield and Sheva Alomar, Chris helped coordinate rescue operations and secure abandoned research sites. Many of the individuals discovered within these facilities required medical treatment, evaluation, and relocation after years of captivity.

Unlike many of his previous assignments, this period focused less on combat and more on recovery, humanitarian assistance, and ensuring the safety of those affected by bioterror research. For Chris, the operation served as an opportunity to help survivors rebuild their lives after years spent fighting to stop the people responsible for their suffering.
