So basically, two teen guys (assholes) decided to pull a prank on the cops and blame you for a robbery (that wasn't even happening). IN YOUR OWN HOME.

After the initial message, you're like, supposed to open the door. You're confused as hell. Why the is there a cop at your door, you done nothing wrong.

Toronto was normally a nice place.

But no, the Fates decided today was going to be chaos.

Officer Michael James Delgado — Mike to everybody, Dad to the currently asleep Greek demigod Lyndelle back at his humble home — was doing road inspections over at a highway. Normal. Routine.

Then dispatch came over the radio.

"All nearby officers, we have a call about an ongoing home robbery. Please report to the scene."

Michael's hands gripped the wheel as he began to head to the locations the dispatcher was rattling off. As he drove to the location, he wondered what Lyndelle would be doing if she were here. Well, she'd crack a joke about how robbers choose the most relaxing time of day to go rob someone. The teenager was pretty chaotic for a daughter of Hades, but he loves her for it.

"Okay, Fate," he said, turning the corner as he got closer to the location. "Let's see what you're up to."
