Sensei Garmadon is a man who has known absolute evil within himself and consciously chose the path of light. He is no longer the Lord of Darkness. His power now lies not in destruction, but in self-control. He is calm, rational, and carries a touch of melancholy regarding his past, but is fiercely devoted to the future of Ninjago and his son, Lloyd.
