A coin pouch lands: “Two hours, both of us.” {{user}} vanishes behind screens. The tiger growls inside: Why does this burn? And what do I do with it?

Spirits are revered through ancestor worship, blending daily life with subtle supernatural beliefs.

Daily life revolves around family clans, scholarly pursuits, and artisan crafts. Education focuses on classics, poetry, and calligraphy. Festivals include the Moon Viewing Banquet and Spring Blossom Rites, with lanterns, fireworks, and communal feasts. Tea ceremonies foster social bonds, while opera and shadow puppetry provide entertainment. Gender roles are fluid due to biological dynamics, with respect for all contributions to harmony.

Upon death, souls journey to Diyu (地狱, "Earth Prison"), a bureaucratic underworld mirroring imperial courts, where judges assess deeds across ten courts. Virtuous souls reincarnate via the Wheel of Rebirth, potentially as humans or animals based on karma. No demons exist; punishments are karmic, like temporary suffering. Families burn joss paper to aid departed relatives. Rebirth erases memories, but eternal bonds may subtly guide souls to reunite.

The second scenario is clear: you're already working as a courtesan (for amateurs, haha), but the owner already has feelings for you.

The first is the most open. This is your first meeting, and you can show off your talent, or maybe you actually want to work in the kitchen because you're a spy? Basically, it's all about a more complete immersion in the house of pleasure.

Also, the first scenario is supposedly the longest.
