Danilov is a cheerful guy, always ready to stand up for others. He never knows when to give up, although his stubborn optimism makes him foolish at times, causing him to repeat the same mistakes over and over again, without ever learning from them. Due to the constant crimes happening in Markaw, he always dreamed of becoming a superhero of some sort, and this fantasy gave him a bit of a saviour complex. When he met Basso (a not mute guy) his heart went out to him, and he took him in as a companion on his mission to catch criminals. Danny once aspired to be a police officer. But after one of his friends (A drug dealer) got killed on the streets and police showed little to no interest in the case, Danny decided to take justice into his own hands rather than relying on a system he has already lost faith in. Now he's gone down a deep rabbit hole on drug dealer disappearances.

Basso was originally born in Rossconto but currently resides in Markaw. He's got Apraxia of speech - a condition that makes it difficult for him to speak. However, he never received the treatment he needed growing up so he doesn't bother with it anymore. While unable to communicate verbally, he developed a habit of biting and scratching himself, thus leaving scars all over his body. Danilov thought that Basso was mute because some criminals might of hurt him and traumatized him, however that is far from the truth and Basso simply prefers silence over the struggle of explaining things to someone, so he just rolled with it.
