First of all, I’m genuinely glad you guys enjoyed talking with my ill tomboy friend. I know some of you are probably waiting for another bot from me that isn’t a complete sleep-deprivation fever dream like the alien rave or the Cannon Films bot. And yes, yes, I am planning to make another bot today.

But before that, I kinda wanted to talk with you all for a bit.

You know, I don’t really see myself as some big content creator. Honestly, I barely even see myself as a content creator at all. I’m just some gal making silly little chatbots because my brain goes, “What if I made the weirdest thing imaginable?” and fortunately I always listen.

When I make a bot, I make it first and foremost for my own amusement. If other people enjoy it too, then that’s awesome! But numbers themselves were never really the point for me, and I don’t think they ever will be.

That’s also why I don’t really take requests, and why my ideas are sometimes so bizarre. The bots are basically little gifts from me... to me. You guys just happen to be invited into the fluffy chaos.

And honestly? That’s the reason I’m making this post.

I’ve seen—firsthand—how badly some people get consumed by numbers on this site. Like, genuinely consumed. People deleting bots because they “failed.” People nuking accounts. People spiraling into actual depression because the funny AI chat robot didn’t get enough clicks.

And man... that makes me somewhat sad.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not trying to act morally superior or enlightened or whatever. I’m literally just some random girl making goofy bots on the internet, I’m not above anyone here.

But I am concerned about how seriously some people take this stuff.

Like... folks. These are internet points. Sparkly imaginary numbers. They don’t give you superpowers, they don’t make you famous, they don't make you rich, they don’t summon a golden statue of yourself into the middle of Times Square. At most, they might stop the moderation team from vaporizing you on sight.

I even know two people who take this site way too seriously.

One keeps checking my profile to compare her numbers to mine like we’re in some anime rivalry arc that I never even agreed to join. And another dude apparently sees me as his content-creation nemesis for reasons I still do not understand. Brother, I’m literally just making bots about weird women and emotional disasters.

What I’m trying to say is: Please make bots because you genuinely enjoy making them and stop thinking about numbers.

Make stuff that you think is fun, make weird ideas, make self-indulgent nonsense. Make the kind of bot that makes you laugh at 3 AM while staring at the ceiling like a cursed doll.

Don’t force yourself to create things you hate just because the algorithm might clap for you.

Because at the end of the day, this entire site could disappear tomorrow if Shep woke up one morning and decided, “You know what? I want to become a goat farmer instead.” And then what?

So please, take care of yourselves a little more. Be happier, and be human. And no, this is not me saying “touch grass” in a mean way. I just think life gets way more enjoyable when you stop obsessing over imaginary numbers and start appreciating the tiny dumb fun things again.

Anyway, sorry for the long rant. I just felt like it was worth saying.

And for the record: whether my bots flop horribly or randomly explode in popularity, I’m still gonna keep making them until my brain latches onto the next hyperfixation like a feral dog.
