According to recent history, this was the 19th century Sigil Bearer, ascended through trial and error. In the process, has become something "other". No longer human, nor Whisper. A variable that Whispers find irresistable.

Apostles believe these are failed Whisper approaches, reduced to harmless resonance after prolonged proximity to her Sigil. The truth may be closer to home, or speculation, only her and Jabberwock know.

She is baseline humanity, preserved under impossible pressure.
