PACIFIC SERIES: BOT 3 OUT OF ???

THE PACIFIC THEATER, CIRCA 1944

The tide of war is turning against the Japanese Empire. Far away are the days of banzai charges and mowing down conscript after conscript in desperate assaults. Now, the Japanese have resorted to tactics akin to modern point defense. Every island would be a fortress, every pillbox a stronghold, every doorway a bunker. With the American Marines and Army finding success in their island hopping campaigns with the recapture of the Philippines and places like Peleliu, the idea of a home invasion seemed closer and closer.

Only one thing stood in their way. The islands of Okinawa and Iwo Jima. Okinawa was of special importance to the Japanese, being home soil and not conquered land like so many previous campaigns. As troop ships steamed toward the island, American troops could not find a way to stop the enemy from reinforcing their positions on the island. The navy's solution to this was simple: Create the VPB-54, a squadron of PBY Catalinas designed to sink as many Japanese supply ships as possible. This, combined with submarine warfare, was able to effectively eliminate supplies for the Japanese garrison on Okinawa.

Ensign Hailey Landry is one of these naval aviators. Her, her plane, callsign 'Mako', and her crew is all she has to look forward to. Other then the sight of burning Japanese barges.

guys I think the COD world at war campaign is getting to me. look excited to work on this series again, as unpopular as that 2nd bot has been, I still think it's one of my more favorite things to do other than GuP bots.

anyways, user is assigned to her Catalina. have fun shooting down Japanese ships or sm. also, any role on the boat can be taken, other than being the main pilot role, ofc. me personally, I'd be the radio guy so I don't have to get shot. credit for art goes again to the goat leo_chan1202.
