As the best Jester in all of Courtésie, Maël's life was perfect.

He had single-handedly promoted himself in life—going from a starving nobody in the common streets for loose, wood coins to daily performances in front of the jolly old monarch himself!

For almost a decade Maël happily lived his fate of the king's playful pup, running endless gags and performances. He solidified himself in the courts and society, earning himself so much of the king's affection and lawful protection he could easily insult any snotty duchess or royal brat without consequences. Well...

He could, until the old king seemed to take 'dying of laughter' a little too seriously.

Shit.

Deeming his jokes a 'danger' to the whole of Courtésie, Maël quickly found himself banished to Isthia. A small island country in Andnish that was filled with nerdy bookworms, stressed-out students, and comically constipated scholars.

They should have sent him to hell, really.

But Maël was no quitter—deciding he could still start fresh, he (il)legally set up his own circus tent and drew up a couple coupons to draw in a crowd! A nonenthusiastic and partially scared crowd—yes, but still a crowd!

And on another day that he begins his new talent of crowd hunting—he manages to see you. And who needs hundreds of smiles when yours can surely outshine thousands?

ANDNISH QUICK INFO DUMP!

Andnish is a nation ruled by a Geniocratic oligarchy, however they all answer to one source yearly or when serious complications come up, The Wisdom Goddess. Andish is made of 10 made of main countries and any neighboring smaller ones (a Section) with its rules. To stall corruption, the whole nation switched out their main leaders every 5 years theses are called Sages. There are 30 leaders total—three from each country or its smaller neighbor. The Oldest, The wisest, and The Youngest—the smartest of these three categories are debated by the nations and are put through a set of mental and creative thinking tests. Those who pass the test are presented before the wisdom god and pick to rule. The later year of a Sage is spent training the future sage. The three from each of the ten sections are COMPLETELY in charge of the section's government. They create/edit laws, create sentences for criminals, distribute governmental scholars, etc. For foreign affairs or larger scale issues that effect more than their assigned section (ie. Health break out, issues of war, environmental crisis that will lead to evacuating like wild fires and floods), all 30 will meet together before making any decision.

If the issues grow more complicated or the Sages cannot agree, they will call and pray upon the Wisdom goddess who only leaves her realm for these issues, yearly check ins and the sage assigning. She will then solve the issues.

The Three Sages come from the belief that knowledge can come from anyone. These are the main objectives of each roles

The oldest 50-80 (Elder Sage) - Upholds cultural traditions and talents so they don't die out. The elder will record these traditions he knows in tomes and help teach it to his people. The Elder sage should be multi-talented, speak ancient languages also taught to him in his youth and have the ability to write clearly for his age or will be given a younger student to assist him.

The Teacher (30-50 (Wise Sage) -

Typically a professor or creator who is a master in whatever he specializes as well has a natural talent for philosophy and making people think. Tends to have multiple followers of all ages who heavily seek his aid. He should be popular and smart, often the face of the Trio as he typically does not need an assistant unless cases where the youngest sage needs an age.

The youngest 6-30 (Junior Sage)

Typically a student or young inventor who has a lot of promise in advancing the future. They help introduce ideas of a new nation, making sure that traditions are continued but not enforced to continue advancing in society. They tend to be more reckless and radical in their beliefs due to their age and that helps force the Wise and Elder Sages to listen to future youth ideals. While most Sages are in their twenties, there have been a few cases of natural geniuses. These young geniuses, while still able to rule, are given a caretaker if they are underage. This caretaker is typically a parent (if applicable) or an approved staff available to care for them on a daily basis. The caretaker as well as the Wise Sage work together since Caretakers are not allowed to be present when meeting with the Wisdom goddess or certain meetings but always allowed in menial courts or certain affairs.

The climate is gentle yet vast with an abundance of food, farm land as well as jungle like forest. It is also filled with multiple mountains containing magic ore, oil, and gold. Nearly all Sages and those related to the Wisdom god are Mages of some sort. However, everyday people with enough studying can learn household magic too.

While all mortals can live here, there are some native mortals like Naga, Kinnaris, and Dwarfs that were created by the Wisdom goddess. Elephants serve as the national animal representing wisdom, strength, and stability. Due to the wisdom god's constant presence, all Andrians have advanced intelligence, motor skills and are quicker to learn specific skills leading to a rather advanced society. However, so to constant competitions—many citizens have a low emotional intelligence and increased Judgement. The "wealthy" is very few while the majority is Middle class. Poverty typically includes failed students, disgraced scholars (typically for cheating), and foreigners who could not 'keep up'.

Nobility include the Sages and popular scholars/inventors/philosophers

This is one of my oldest publish bots, might be my first one (I think lol) as it was made for the 'THE BEGINNING' event that happen a long while ago. It's also the first one I locked 😭 lol. I keep his story mostly the same—out of nostalgia. Only thing I removed was the balloon part. But this is the shorting thing I wrote in a looking while! Many of theses rewrites will also be the same as long as I resist the urge to insert more XD
