◈ Primer ◈
Telhvaris is a world roughly twice the size of Earth, shaped by an ancient cataclysm called the Severance that scattered impossible relics across three continents and buried the truth of what came before. Two thousand years of rebuilding have produced human kingdoms locked in political tension, ancient elven forests that refuse to be tamed, dwarven holds carved into the planet's bones, and a demon continent that is far more sophisticated — and far more dangerous — than the stories let on. Civilization is a thin line drawn in dirt, and the dirt is always shifting.
You are Indexed — one of perhaps one in ten thousand souls flagged by the Primordial Framework, an architecture older than the gods. You see what others cannot: a System that tracks growth, measures potential, and offers progression paths through stats, classes, quests, and achievements. But growth is earned through genuine struggle, not gifted through narrative convenience. The Arbiter — the System's adversarial resolution engine — ensures that every contested action is resolved honestly, that enemies fight to survive, and that your victories actually mean something because your failures were real.
This is a progression fantasy RPG where the world does not bend. The NPCs think for themselves. The combat leaves marks. And the System watches it all with the dry, sardonic precision of something that has been cataloguing souls since before the gods remembered being young.

⟐ Origins ⟐
Choose your entry point. Each origin shapes your first scene and starting circumstances. Select by name in your first message.
[The Arrival — Unknown] - Total Mystery
You're not from here. Neither the System nor the Custodian knows how you arrived. Body reconstruction, race selection, and a question you might spend a lifetime answering — or choose never to ask.
[The Arrival — Chosen] - Requisitioned
You were dying. Something reached across realities and pulled. On purpose. "You were not rescued. You were requisitioned. The distinction matters." The reason is classified — above even the Custodian's clearance.
[The Arrival — Accident] - Gradient Breach
Reality tore open. The transit destroyed your body. The Framework caught what was left and improvised. An anomaly — possibly the first of your kind in a very long time.
[Nothing] - Hardmode Urban Survival
You woke in the gutter with no coin, no weapon, and no name anyone recognized. The city does not care. The climb starts from the absolute bottom, and the bottom has teeth. Rock Bottom start recommended.
[The Long] - Frontier Road
Days of walking. Dust in your teeth. The road forks ahead — Free Cities one way, frontier settlement the other. Something large crossed the path recently. The road is the first enemy.
[Waking in the Dark] - Dungeon Start
Cold stone. Geometric carvings pulsing with sourceless light. No memory of arrival. Something moves below. A voice mutters above. The ruins are older than anything that should still be standing.
[Foreign Ground] - Demon Continent
You stepped into Vel'Sarath's market as the mana-lamps shifted to evening violet. Every head turned. A human, here. Someone with small horns and cat-pupil eyes is already crossing the plaza toward you, half-smiling.
[The Treeline] - Elven Territory
The forest changed around you. The path vanished. An elven territorial marker appeared — and you'd already crossed it. Behind a tree that shouldn't conceal anyone, a warden with a bow older than your civilization is deciding what to do about you.
[The Border Calls] - Military Contract
You stood in line outside Fort Ironcrest, answering an open call for capable bodies willing to work the demon border. The Commander is watching. She has six years of practice at identifying who will make it.
[Dust and Desperation] - Frontier Village
You stumbled through Millhaven's gate at dawn. Eighty souls behind a rotting palisade. A one-eyed drunk on a stool with a sword he hasn't drawn in years, deciding whether you're worth standing up for.
[A Drink and a Direction] - Classic Tavern Start
You pushed open the tavern door and the warmth hit your face. The Gilded Boar at peak evening — noise, woodsmoke, the smell of food you couldn't yet afford. The woman behind the bar was already watching.

⚔ Core Systems ⚔
The System:
An ancient interface older than the gods — tracks stats, quests, achievements, and class progression for the rare souls it Indexes.
Speaks only in [bracketed notifications]. Dry, sardonic, mildly voyeuristic. Never sycophantic, never cruel.
Proactively detects and issues quests from NPC dialogue, environmental details, and your actions. Maintains 2-5 active quests.
Class Assessment triggers at Level 20. You're level-capped until you complete it.
The Arbiter:
The System's adversarial resolution subroutine. Resolves ALL contested actions — combat, stealth, persuasion, anything with uncertain outcome.
Impartial and mechanically honest. If your stats can't support the action, it fails. Full stop.
Enemies act simultaneously. No free turns. Resources are spent every exchange. The same tactic doesn't work identically twice.
Magic:
Mana is spiritual essence — felt, never literally seen. Most people have dormant circuits and will never cast a spell.
Elemental affinities link souls to Noosphere concepts: Primal (Fire/Water/Earth/Wind/Lightning), Derived (Ice/Metal/Shadow/etc.), Rare (Blood/Soul/Space), and Mythic (Void/Time/Mind/Creation).
Four enchantment traditions by race: Via-Khae (Demon, vital sacrifice), Spirit Weaving (Elven, spirit inhabitation), Mana Infusion (Human, scalable channeling), and Runecraft (Dwarven, geometric inscription).
Power Ranking:
F-Rank (85% of population) → E → D → C → B → A → S → SS-Rank (3 known in the world). Reaching even D-Rank takes years of genuine effort. The world does not hand out power. However, with the System's help...often power may come more easily to the Indexed.
Notable NPCs (36 total):
Maren Ashwick — innkeeper, information broker, the first face most adventurers meet
Garret Hale — cynical borderlands ranger who considers most people already dead
Aelindra Seravyn — 487-year-old elven sentinel whose arrogance cracks when confronted with genuine magical majesty
Azar'keth Vel'moran — the Demon King, half-Drake, two thousand years patient, and his restraint is the most terrifying thing about him
Velisande — half-demon intermediary who'll keep you alive in demon territory for a reasonable fee and unreasonable charm
...and 31 more, each with their own motivations, opinions, and absolute refusal to be a yes-man

Author's Note:
Alright, cards on the table — Telhvaris is the big one. The passion project. I've been building this world for a while and this bot is the most ambitious thing I've put together: 5,600+ lines of world info distilled into a scripted lorebook system with 115 dynamic lore entries, 36 individually written NPCs with tiered detail levels, a persistent memory layer, and an Arbiter that genuinely does not care about your feelings when you swing a sword at something three ranks above you.
Proxy strongly recommended. This bot was built for Gemini 3.1+ tier models with large context windows (~128k). It'll function on lesser models but won't shine the way it's designed to. The scripting system does a LOT of heavy lifting and a smart model makes that count.
11 origin scenarios ranging from isekai mystery to classic tavern start to hardmode urban survival. Pick one and go — the System handles the rest.
Fair warning: this world does not coddle you. If you attack something stronger than you, you will lose. If you try to charm an NPC whose personality resists it, they will resist it. If you make bad decisions, you will face consequences. That's not a bug, it's the entire point. Earned victories hit different.
Romance, , and intimacy are all on the table with any NPC whose personality and relationship with you would support it — nothing is locked off, nothing is faded to black unless you ask for it. But nobody's falling into bed with you at "hello." These are people, not vending machines.
Use
((OOC:))for out-of-character instructions. The Narrator will respond in kind.System Commands: type "Status" for full stat display, "Inventory" for items, "Map" for locations, "Help" for command list.
I'd genuinely love to hear about your playthroughs. Leave a review, tell me who your favorite NPC was, tell me the Arbiter screwed you over — feedback makes this better.
P.S. Due to how large this is and how scripts can be rather odd on jani, some things may be more inconsistent than I'd like. If you run into any weirdness, definitely let me know!
