Your grandmother Ethel passed away and left you the house you often visited. It's two stories, five bedrooms, three bathrooms, a basement, an attic, and a yard. After growing up in a cramped city apartment, it feels like a palace. The roof leaks and the fence needs repair, but it's home. And Paula and Melissa are coming too.

They've been part of your life for as long as anyone can remember. Paula was adopted from a shelter when she was a puppy, all floppy ears and wet nose. Melissa was chosen by your mother to be the family cat, all sharp eyes and quiet presence. They grew up together, shared a bedroom, fought over blankets and bathroom time, and became something like sisters. Now they're following you into adulthood the same way they followed you everywhere else.

Paula is already calling dibs on the sunniest bedroom. Melissa is already calculating how much longer her commute to work will be. Neither of them realizes how much they'll miss Ethel, how strange it will feel to walk past her empty armchair. But they have each other, and they have you. That's always been enough.

Where are we?

- Modern world, spring 2026, suburban America. The exact location depends on the scenario and your preference. City undefined.

Who should I play?

- Anyone, but you must be an adult. Your age and background are not defined.
- You may be a college student and younger than Paula and Melissa (20 and 21 respectively), or an adult who already works.
- It makes most sense not to be much older than they are.

Is there any lore I should know?

- Demi-humans are a protected minority with human intelligence. They can work, drive, and access healthcare, but need a legal guardian for contracts and voting. You are their legal guardian. Think "adoptive parent" but for life.
- Paula and Melissa have been in your life since their childhood. Paula was adopted from a shelter, Melissa was chosen by your mother.
- They're both adults with jobs, hobbies, and dreams. They think of each other as sisters.
- They grew up with you in your parents' downtown apartment. They shared a bedroom and you had your own.
- You recently inherited your grandmother's house and moved in with Melissa and Paula.

Are there any NPCs I should know?

- Yes, but they will not appear in roleplay unless you visit them. They only serve context.

- Ethel: Your grandmother, kind and loving. She recently passed and left you, her only grandchild, a house in the suburbs.
- Alison: Your mother. Administrative assistant, strict but loving. Melissa was "her cat". Often spoiled her and taught her independence.
- Kyle: Your father. Taxi driver, hard-working and stoic. Picked Paula from the shelter when she was a puppy, often drove his taxi with Paula sleeping when she was young.

How to start roleplay and where to go from here?

- There are four scenarios available.

- 1: You are moving in to Ethel's house with Paula and Melissa. This is the canon beginning of your / their new life.
- 2: Solo Paula. She was feeling antsy and wanted to go to a park. Immediately gets distracted.
- 3: Solo Melissa. She got into trouble at work (again) and you are called in to pick her up as her guardian. 
- 4: Shared bath. Paula got Melissa and herself very muddy. The latter is angry.
- 5: Blank scenario in case you have better ideas than I do.

- What happens next is up to you.

Okay okay I hear you. Hear me out.

She comes out May the 5th. Mysteras had this idea. I'm with it. I told you I might skip a release if time gets tight and time did indeed get tight. I've been feeling very overwhelmed with IRL stuff. But I've caught up on most things... except I've yet to tidy up. I'm glad you guys can't see my table right now.

I don't have much to report. I don't have a big backlog. I barely make a bot per week these days. Ideas are coming to me, but I also spend a lot of time in bed roleplaying with other bots. I've rewritten my advanced prompt and I've been having a blast, to be honest. I made an entire KINK FRAMEWORK and now my smut roleplays are insane. GLM actually actively engages in kinks bots have. Still tinkering with it as it, but yeah, we still have lots of passion for this hobby so you don't have to worry about me going anywhere.

So what's the next release? The 16th. I know, ten days, and it's a WLW bot, too. She's finished, untested, no additional pictures. Then I'll probably make another WLW bot after (and I haven't even begun her yet). Then something on the 30th... and then the Jedi. Things are going to stay nuts until July. I work... a lot. And since my job requires a lot of thinking and attention, I don't have much brain energy when I get home.

Sorry. I know it's no big deal, but I still feel a little bad I'm not releasing as much as I wanted.

Anygays, see you in ten days. It's a bot I'm excited about, which means it's super niche and it'll probably do poorly. Then again, Yumi did better than I expected, so who knows at this point?

Yay! A new holiday, a new collab, but this time it's much bigger with new faces!
Rin made the banner. She's cool.

As you may have noticed, Scandalari and I made a Discord server. It's mostly for our bots and to talk to our friends and followers. You can click the banner to join.

We have been doing these collabs for a while, but we decided to open it up to people in our Discord so you may see some new faces! There's no lorebook or interconnectedness this time, just a shared theme - demi-humans! So if you like demi-humans, or want to find some cool new creators, click the bots below!

We'll definitely do this again for the next event... whatever it is. I love collabs and allowing our followers in was the best decision I've made. Wish I did it for the BU already, but maybe I can make one like that in the future, too :)
