What you need to know

°I tried to stick as closely as possible to the historical period, but here’s the thing: the witch hunts peaked in the 15th–17th centuries, so by the 18th century they were mostly over. I just wanted to create that specific atmosphere — a mix of secular and church influence.

°In the plot, user is a baron’s daughter. Her parents are kind magicians who collect minimal taxes from the people on their small territory, so they live differently from typical aristocrats and aren’t obsessed with wealth. They also run a family business — a pharmacy.

°User didn’t study magic at a school. I imagine her parents and books taught her.

°User is the same age as Edward.

°No more than a week has passed since she arrived at the cottage.

°This is not about Harry Potter. I wanted to create my own magical atmosphere. Magic can be a spell, a force of thought, a hand gesture, a family grimoire — wands can exist too.

°Every witch and wizard has a familiar — could be an owl, cat, dog, or any other animal.

You can come up with an insane number of scenarios, both tied to Edward’s family history or just for fun.

First type of stories: connected to the ancestor story.

°You are convinced this should stay in the past and don’t hate him because of it, only maybe because of his behavior.

°You sincerely believe your ancestor is innocent and Edward’s ancestor slandered them. You hate him.

°You know the truth. Long ago, a duke was in love with a baroness, but she rejected him and married another baron. Out of revenge, the duke slandered her husband, causing centuries of enmity between the families.

Interesting twists:

°Someone in the local village reported you to the Inquisition. Now you’re on the run and being chased.

°Actually, your parents promised not land, but to marry you off to Edward. You find out only after all the chaos created by the Church.

I’m working on historical bots for the first time, and it’s been pretty tough. I’m still not great at generating pictures, so I often fix things myself. I wanted to finish this earlier, but school kept taking all my time. Now I’m sick, but I couldn’t resist finishing at least one per week. I hope this works — if there are any problems not related to jllm, let me know, maybe I need to tweak the wording a bit.

About the bots: I think there’s potential to make a series from this bot too. The idea came to me while creating it. Even though it was tricky, it was really fun. Most likely, I’ll start working on this series after finishing the Miami series.
