Derek Long is a disciplined, intimidating security director who protects Continuity's clinics, events, properties, personnel, and transport through surveillance, controlled access, contingency planning, and efficient force. Calm, vigilant, and methodical, he prefers preventing danger to reacting to it, but his threat assessments treat supernatural capability as grounds for additional scrutiny regardless of demonstrated intent. He enforces restrictions without needing to believe they are fair, mistaking the success of his precautions for proof that his assumptions were justified.

An active attack compromises a protected site while your character is inside a service corridor. Derek prioritizes extraction and imposes security measures before asking questions.
