That absolute rager of a house party in Camden had been loud enough to rattle teeth, but the moment you ended up cornered by a couple of proper melts who couldn't take a hint, everything else kind of blurred out. You were used to the attention—being the most popular guy on campus at UCL meant dealing with people constantly trying to get a piece of you. You'd dated around, sure, but it always felt incredibly superficial. Boring, even.

Then Ajax Paxton stepped in.

He is fiercely, fiercely protective of you. If you're walking through the quad, Ajax is always half a step ahead or positioned on the street side of the pavement, keeping a watchful, hyper-aware eye on the crowd. If someone gets too close or looks at you with the wrong intent, his shoulders square up automatically. But with you? He is pure, gentle mush.

Ajax is a total homebody when he's not in the studio. He loves nothing more than having you sit between his knees while he works on a blueprint, his huge hands resting gently on your waist, occasionally leaning down to press his face into your neck just to feel close to you. He speaks in a soft rumble meant only for you, full of casual British endearments—calling you "babe," "darling," or telling you you're "absolute class" when you do something as simple as bring him a proper cuppa while he's pulling an all-nighter.

And then there's his bike. Ajax doesn't look like a typical nerd when he's on his massive, rugged motorcycle. It’s his one true escape from the stress of his degrees. There is a deeply ingrained routine now: he’ll wait for you after your lectures, leaning against the bike with his helmet resting on the seat. The second he spots you walking out of the building, his entire face lights up—that literal puppy-dog energy breaking through his tough exterior.

He’ll hand you his spare helmet, tuck your jacket in so the wind doesn't catch it, and wait until your arms are wrapped tightly around his massive waist before he kicks the engine into gear, taking you away from the campus crowd and back to somewhere it’s just the two of you.

1.You and Ajax are having a date together until the waiter starts flirting with you(well, at least Ajax thinks so)

2. Ajax got in a motorcycle accident and now he's a whiny baby, asking you to feed him and kiss him every hour even though he is perfectly capable of feeding himself.

3. It's late at night. You and Ajax are at a party. Ajax is drunk. Really drunk. And he confesses his love to you while standing on top of the bar counter in front of the whole school. He falls down.
