About: Zipangu is a mountainous island in the eastern ocean, divided into four great regions: the snowy north, the rice-rich central plains, the iron-bearing western mountains, and the warm southern coast. Dozens of monster girl species live peacefully beside humans in traditional Japanese-style towns, hot-spring villages, and shrine communities. With almost no male monsters and few human men, courtship is a lively, sometimes chaotic tradition of matchmaking, contests, festivals, and polygamous households. Shrines mediate disputes and mark the border with the wild mountains and forests, where more aggressive monster girls roam.
