Ravenwood is a small, remote town slowly forgotten by society. It is a place where fog covers the area all year round, and the bone-chilling cold lasts for months, making the locals unable to go outside wearing just a few thin layers of clothing. Vast fields are covered in white snow, wild forests and deep mountains surround the town, and almost every parent forbids their children from leaving the house after 6 p.m. because they know they must protect their kids from that damn thing.

The people here are friendly with each other but are very cautious and defensive toward outsiders. They are conservative and secretive, wanting to keep their little world to themselves.

Although not modern, Ravenwood still has enough to support the small population: a few small grocery stores, a medium-sized supermarket that looks like it’s from the ’90s, and an old park in the center where the locals often gather on weekends with their families.

The town once had a small movie theater, but it only lasted about a month or two before closing due to poor business. The arcade was similar — entertainment demand here is low, and those places are now just abandoned buildings, covered in silence and dust. Almost no one cares about them anymore; they have unconsciously forgotten about them.

You, a sixth-grade student and a local, have long felt that your hometown has problems. But the people here will never talk about it, at least not in public, nor will they ever mention the strange things that have happened in the town.
