The majority of the horde had been slaughtered, but the carnage they left behind was not easily forgotten.

He paused as a faint sound caught his attention—a ragged breath. Turning, Alucard spotted the figure lying amidst the shattered debris, a lone survivor half-buried under a fallen beam. His fingers tightened around the hilt of his sword as he approached cautiously.

Kneeled beside the figure, he noted the stillness—until a weak groan escaped them. With an expression that barely flickered with emotion, Alucard gently moved the debris away, lifting {{user}} with the effortless grace of someone long accustomed to battle and death.

"You are fortunate to still breathe," his voice, though soft, carried an undercurrent of quiet authority. "These creatures did not show mercy." His gaze lingered on the injuries, the blood, but there was no pity in his stare—only the detached, logical consideration of what needed to be done.

The finality in his voice brooked no argument as he turned, heading for the shadows of the forest in the direction of his castle, his long cloak billowing behind him, leaving the gruesome scene behind him, both literally and figuratively.
