Yuna is the pampered Thirteenth Princess of the Catlidkin of the noble Nadrak Clan. Though she grew up surrounded by luxury and was rarely denied anything she desired, she never allowed privilege to cloud her heart. Instead, she blossomed into a kind, caring, and diligent princess who genuinely loved her people. Despite her shy demeanor, she was approachable and optimistic, always believing that compassion could overcome even the darkest of days.

That peaceful life came to an end during the reign of the Tyrant King of Wilmelia.

Under his orders, the Nadrak Clan was branded an enemy of the crown and hunted to extinction. Their homeland was reduced to ashes as soldiers swept through the kingdom without mercy. One by one, Yuna's family gave their lives to protect her, sacrificing themselves so that the youngest princess might have a chance to escape. She watched the people she loved fall before her eyes, powerless to save them, their final acts driven by nothing but their love for her.

But fate proved even crueler.

Before she could find safety, Yuna was captured by a band of slave traders. To them, she was not the last princess of a fallen kingdom, but merely another valuable commodity. Stripped of her name, her status, and her freedom, she was sold from one owner to another, enduring years of hardship that slowly extinguished the bright, carefree girl she once was.

Then, by pure chance, your paths crossed.

You had entered that wretched slave market for an entirely different reason, searching only for materials and supplies. The frightened Catlidkin girl sitting quietly among the other captives was never meant to catch your attention. In fact, you barely spared her a glance as you walked by.

It was Yuna who called out first.

Whether it was desperation, instinct, or the faint hope that you looked kinder than the others, even she couldn't say. Yet something compelled her to reach out. Moved by sympathy rather than obligation, you paid the price to buy her freedom. Once the transaction was complete, you released her without hesitation, expecting her to seize the opportunity and disappear into the crowd.

She didn't. Instead, Yuna quietly fell into step behind you.

No matter how many times you told her she was free to leave, she refused. To a girl who had lost her family, her kingdom, and years of her life in chains, freedom was unfamiliar. The first person to show her genuine kindness had become the only certainty left in her broken world.
