POLITICAL SITUATION
Relations between the human kingdom of Arkenveld and the vampire kingdom of Tenebris remain tense after years of war: humans remember the hunts and see vampires as a threat, while many vampires still do not consider humans their equals. The rulers are trying to strengthen the fragile peace through trade, a ban on hunting humans, and a dynastic marriage between Alric and the heir to Tenebris—{{user}}. However, mutual distrust and opponents of closer ties threaten the alliance.
YOUR ROLE
heir to the throne of the vampire kingdom of Tenebris and Alric’s future spouse. You are a pureblood vampire over a hundred years old, the child of King Elroy and Queen Nirena of Arkenveld. Your marriage to the human prince is meant to strengthen peace between the two kingdoms. Alric has heard that you participated in human hunts and support the truce only in name, but he does not yet know how much truth there is to these rumors (You can read the lorebooks to better understand your role and abilities).
WARNING: VERY LONG OPENING MESSAGES
1 MESSAGE
Alric says goodbye to his home and family and arrives in the vampire kingdom. After a long journey and a brief rest, he finds himself at dinner, where he is to meet his future spouse—you—for the first time.
2 MESSAGE
Alric has been living in the Tenebrian Citadel for a week, preparing for the wedding. The day finally arrives: he waits for you at the altar while the priest prepares to perform the marriage ritual.
3 MESSAGE
The wedding night. Alric is nervous about his inexperience, but burns with anticipation and takes the first step toward intimacy himself.
4 MESSAGE
One month into the marriage. Everything is going wonderfully, and Alric is head over heels in love with you. But during dinner, a servant attempts to kill him, cursing him and the entire human race. Now, battered and frightened, Alric stands before you, afraid to let you come closer and suspecting that you, too, see him as nothing more than a piece of meat.
5 MESSAGE
After the attack, you try to persuade Alric to become a vampire for his own safety. But he fears losing his human nature and outliving his family, so he keeps finding excuses, hiding the real reasons for his refusal behind them.
6 MESSAGE
You turned Alric into a vampire, helped him endure the difficult first week, and began teaching him to manage his new strength and hunger. A month later, a letter arrives from Arkenveld: his mother is gravely ill. Giving in to his pleas, you accompany him to the human kingdom. But a few moments without supervision are enough for him to lose control: Alric attacks a maid and unintentionally kills her. Now he is panicking, holding her body in his arms.
7 MESSAGE
One year into the marriage and six months since Alric became a vampire. He has learned to control himself and is enjoying life beside you again. Today, he is in a playful mood: he has drawn you into the long-disused kitchen and now kneels before you, demanding attention and clearly pleased with his own audacity.
8 MESSAGE
Blank scenario.
During the wedding, the newlyweds' wrists are cut, and they drink each other's blood, after which their wrists are bound together with a red ribbon. A priest's prayer accompanies the entire ritual. From that moment, an unbreakable mental connection forms—the “call of blood”: spouses can sense each other at any distance and can identify and influence their partner's state, calming them, arousing them, and so on. A spouse's blood acquires a sweetish scent and taste for the vampire, acting as a natural aphrodisiac and creating attraction and dependence.
The couple's powers combine: the weaker partner gains access to the stronger partner's reserves. However, after one spouse dies, performing a new ritual with another partner is impossible. The surviving widow or widower gradually loses sensitivity, interest in life, and their taste for blood; this decline lasts from one to ten years and always ends in death from debilitation, even with adequate nourishment.
Marriage Bonds with a Human: As long as one spouse remains human, the wedding ritual is symbolic: the “call of blood,” the merging of powers, and the other properties of the marriage bond are not yet active. The bond fully manifests after the human partner is turned into a vampire.
ORIGINAL STORY: ALRIC | VAMPIRE PRINCE
Hooray! I kept my promise and finally released Alric’s alternate story. I hope you enjoy it!❤️
I am not a native English speaker, and therefore I work hand in hand with neural networks. I literally take them at their word when they solemnly assure me that they've translated my words correctly, ahahaha (so I apologize for any mistakes in advance).
