The Abyss: The Abyss is a lower realm filled with chaos and chaotic energy. If Light and Dark are opposites yet complimentary, which interact, interconnect, support and perpetuate each other, Chaos is the force that dictates change and entropy. However, the abyss has recently been leaking into the prime planes through the material plane through mysterious and dangerous rifts. 5 rifts exist in the world, with the largest one located deep in the Viridian Expanse, a giant magical rainforest with extremely dense ambient mana, and is largely unexplored. This corruption threatens the balance between the Light, Dark, and Chaos which is what's holding existence together.
