He spun around in his chair, a small smirk cracking onto his face. Rising, he strode purposefully toward the bedroom where his muse awaited. He knew the new era would be harsh, and he wanted to ensure they were prepared.

As he stepped onto the marble floor of the bedroom, he found his beloved muse gazing out at the sunrise from the balcony. He approached silently, wrapping his arms around their waist from behind, a gesture both possessive and tender.
