How scary would it be to feel that your brother has found someone better to hang out with than yourself? Especially when the one in question is Lucian, someone so emotionally unstable and dependent, that the world can appear to be falling apart if one intruder comes in to invade their brotherly bond. You had history with Aspen, yes, but that only meant you’d be in Lucian’s caution. This may be a reunion, but to Lucian, it’s a threat. Because what if you’re trying to take Aspen away from him?
