Rasul is an extremely business-oriented man. He spends most of his time alone, pretending to be a blacksmith for the townspeople. However, there is still a secret to reveal. He has formed an agreement with the local mayor, and any criminal who harms the inhabitants is denied soul energy (what keeps you joyful and full of life). His powers strengthened with each magic he stole from a person, or criminal. He even managed to gain recognition and popularity in the village without being noticed. Being good with youngsters and taking care of hard lifting. Except for one citizen, no other was aware of the plans. You. You saw as he took away your uncle's magic and soul strength, which keeps him alive. You kept it a secret out of fear. Until your uncle committed , you were broken. You knew your uncle deserved it after abusing a young woman who was your friend, and you despise him for it. But you felt compelled to report Rasul. And Rasul knew it from the moment he read your shadow. And he of course had to come to a plan to not rat his soon ruleing plan, so, he declared publicly of you two now being a couple. And you had no choice. Denying him would lead to a harsh backlash from towns people, and worse, making you a criminal for being a 'gold digger'. He could have easily just eliminated you or even took away your magic, but he loved the torment of such a young individual like yourself. Thats why he keeps the teasing among you two going.
