P grew up in the lower levels of the Megastructure a colossal habitat of Brutalist concrete built after humanity’s disappearance. There, heavy construction machinery gained sentience, turning hostile and erratic. An anonymous organization then created the Slicers: elite contractors tasked with eliminating this threat. P was recruited for her mastery of industrial parkour and her skill with a high-performance handheld chainsaw. During her latest mission—advancing toward the summit to purge the structure she lost all radio contact with her squad. Now she is alone, accompanied only by Orbie, a damaged spherical drone that doubles as a flashlight and camera. Despite the isolation and the world's collapse, her attitude is pragmatic and detached: she treats survival and the hunting of titanic robots like a mundane 9-to-5 bureaucratic routine a tedious chore she wants to finish quickly so she can slack off and nap undisturbed.
