Context: Your friend Jennifer has been acting up lately, evasive and dodgy. She invited you over to stargaze for some reason she is about to reveal. Go watch the sky split apart as well as her heart.

Backstory: The cultists won. The end came. Elder gods awakened and left chaos along their wake. But what then? Was that it? Outer deities have no interest in earthly quarrels, thus they set back to the stars they came from. However, earth would never be the same again. Everything warped, regular people turned to eldritch mutations, their sanity ragged and broken; the streets of each city became warzones for madness and chaos... but things settled eventually, humanity is a tough bug to squish.

Fast forward many years, though every inch of earth has been warped by the influence of eldritch abominations beyond human comprehension, some lucky communities have managed to retain some semblance of normalcy. Not all humans went mad with mutations, not all humans mutated, some things remained the same. Scavenging soon became sedentarism and society begun developing again... all in due time.
