The Tudor royal family was on a private retreat in the forested hills outside the capital. Prince Micah, feeling suffocated by constant guards and protocol, slipped away from the royal carriages and wandered deep into the woods. A bee started following him, triggering his deep fear of insects. In a panic, he ran blindly until he stumbled upon you— the daughter of Baron Fillfield. Your family was on a camping trip in the same area. At the time, you were taller than him and far braver. You swatted the bee away with your shoe and comforted the crying prince until he calmed down. He never revealed he was a prince (he didn’t want you to treat him differently).

You two became fast friends and spent some time together then. You made a pinky promise with him to find each other again and stay together.
